During the past few months, there have been several discussions regarding suggested changes to the Mustang league.  After thoughtful consideration, OBA is excited to announce the following enhancements for both the 9U and 10U Mustang divisions:

• Skilled based instruction clinics, run by OBA's Pony staff.  Participants will be separated by skill in order to maximize instruction.  Clinics will need a minimum of 4 participants, and will be paid for by participants.  Clinics will begin after the time change in March.
• Earlier communication from OBA to the Mustang community regarding post season teams, with a higher commitment expectation from the participants.
• Support of the post season teams for four (4) summer tournaments during June and July.  Tournaments will be selected at the discretion of coaches and Mustang Commissioner.

Our mission is to provide a meaningful, community-based, baseball experience for the kids of Orinda.  The improvements outlined above are a result of constructive and collaborative feedback to strengthen the baseball community and enhance the various baseball opportunities for the youth of Orinda through our house league play, All-star travel teams and instructional clinics.
