Recent Bronco 680 12u News
The 12u Desperados are off to a 3-5 start having played their first 3 series against 3 of the traditionally toughest programs in the 680 Diablo League. The team pitching has been outstanding as 8 pitchers have combined to post a very strong strike to ball ratio and now that the bats and team defense are coming around, the team is poised to hit the second third of their 680 League Schedule with alot more confidence and energy. The team played their best ball of the year on Sunday, March 11. Despite earning only a doubleheader split with their friendly rivals, the Pleasant Hill Hawks, the team returned home with a new bounce in their step. Pounding out 30 hits and scoring 20 runs over 2 games, the team proved to themselves that they can play with anyone in the league. The Desperados play 4 games this coming weekend - hosting Danville and San Ramon on Saturday at the SportsField and then traveling to play a Sunday doubleheader at San Ramon.
