OBA Alumni

OBA Alumni

Eligibility for the award is determined by the OBA Board. Each player is vetted based upon the following criteria:

  • accomplishments within the League;
  • longevity with OBA  and loyalty and contribution to the League;
  • accomplishments on the High School baseball circuit;
  • a confirmed intention to play baseball at the college level; and
  • general deportment and sportsmanship.

These players represent the best the League has to offer and serve as role models for all younger players in the League.

Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 43rd round of the 2008 MLB June Amateur Draft.


Tyler Davis

Played at Miramonte and now at Chico State

OBA Highlights: Earning the Newton Award in 2007. Plus two OBA championships, 8 All Star/Tournament teams, and representing OBA With Diablo Valley team in the PONY tournaments in 2006 and 2007 and winning a PONY Sectional title.
