For players interested in trying out for the 11U and 12U 680 League Teams, evaluations will be conducted on 10/18/15 and 11/14/15 by OBA's Pony coaching staff, with some assistance from parent-coaches. Both evaluations will be conducted on the Wagner Ranch Bronco and Mustang Fields from 9am-11 am. Players should report 30 minutes prior to check in, obtain their player number, and warm up.

Since registration for OBA Spring 2016 will not be open in time for these evaluations, we ask that if your child is interested in Bronco 680 League tryouts, that you complete this form.

In order to be considered for a 680 League team, attendance at one of the two sessions is mandatory; players are encouraged to attend both sessions. Please keep in mind that 680 Teams play many more games than OBA Bronco house league teams, and the season typically involves more competitive tournament play, which usually runs through July. Commitment to prioritizing baseball over other Spring and Summer sports is very important, so please consider these factors before participating in the 680 tryouts.

Parents are welcome to attend, but please remain off of the field(s) and allow the players and coaches to interact without interference. In some cases, players tend to perform better without the "pressure" of parental presence. Use your best judgment.

A separate evaluation date in January will take place for the Orinda Bronco House League, which competes locally with other Orinda, Moraga and Piedmont teams. The exact date will be announced in December, and registration for the Spring OBA Bronco program through the obabaseball.com site is required.

Thank you and best of luck! Remember, fill this form out if interested.
